Once cleaned we can begin the process of sanding the surface and preparing the boards for staining. This process not only smooths out blemishes in the wood but also opens up the pores of the wood, allowing the stain to penetrate and dry.

After we’ve finished sanding, we can begin staining the wood. We will guide you through the different types of stains and colors while allowing you to choose the best option for your preferences. 

Once the stain is chosen, we apply the stain directly and evenly to the deck boards, balusters and handrails. The stain will keep moisture out of the boards keeping it safe from moss, mildew and moisture damage for years at a time.

Once completed, the deck only needs a quick clean once a year!
